 Cajamarca, Peru |

We are currently located in this beautiful mountianous city set about 9,000
feet above sea level. As you can see they have the cross but are
lacking the Christ that can save them. That is why we are here to
plant Independent Fundamental Baptist Churches. Cajamarca is a farming community, we see cows, pigs, and sheep everyday. They are known for their milk products in this town. They also have a very well producing gold mine located very close to Cajamarca. This makes Cajamarca have a stronger economy. |

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (2CO 4:3-4) Machu Picchu was a city that was built and occupied by the Inca Indians high in the Andes Mountains. It was only discovered in the early 1900's. It is a shame that this city has laid here lost for so many years, but what a greater shame that many of these people are still lost and without Christ. |
The people of Peru are an
ancient farming people who lived in Machu Picchu undisturbed for
years. The altitude was so high that no one was able to
conquer them.  Mysterious lines at Nazca Plains The Nazca lines are still a mystery today. They are lines that are made on the ground. When in an airplane one can see the figures of birds, monkeys, spiders and many other figures. They are a mystery because no one knows how their makers could have made them so precisly without having some way to fly and see the big picture. Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. (ROM 16:25-27) |

Arequipa is a desert city located in the south west. It is also home to a famous Catholic Convent that is still in operation today. The city is called the 'Cuidad Blanco' - 'White City' because of its unique white lava rock, of which many buildings are made of. |

 The Catholic Church on the square in Lima, Peru. Almost every city/town in Peru has it's largest Catholic church on the square in the center of the town. What a tremendous mission field, and need to reach these people with the Gospel! |
